No appointment is necessary! We welcome walk-ins during business hours for all services.
Smog inspections are required when you register or renew registration for a vehicle in California, but there are some exceptions.
Your vehicle does not need a smog inspection if your:
- Gasoline-powered vehicle is a 1975 year model or older (This includes motorcycles and trailers.)
- Diesel-powered vehicle is a 1997 and older year model OR with a Gross Vehicle Weight of more than 14,000 pounds.
- Powered by natural gas and weighs more than 14,000 pounds.
- An electric vehicle.
- Gasoline-powered and less than eight model-years old.
Most smog checks take about 15–20 minutes. We aim to get you in and out as quickly as possible without compromising on accuracy.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Zelle, and mobile payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
If your vehicle fails, we’ll provide a detailed report and recommendations on what needs to be fixed. We’ll also guide you on the next steps to get your car retested.
