How often do I need a smog check?
Most vehicles need one every two years for registration renewal, plus when there's a change of ownership or when registering an out-of-state vehicle. Some newer vehicles are exempt for their first several years.
How long does it take?
Usually 15–25 minutes for most vehicles. The result is sent to the DMV electronically as soon as we finish.
Do I need an appointment?
